I am a colorist, abstract expressionist painter, composing my paintings with design and composition in mind.
I carve lines and shapes into the texture, then use the play of color and directional lines to give my paintings depth and strength. The viewer's eye follows the path of the lines, shapes and colors to take a journey around the painting.
Joseph Mugnaini, (Professor, Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles, California) was the most prominent influence in my work. When I paint, his teachings are always on my mind. Also influencing my work are the many master artist workshops I have participated in.

calm & tranquility to my very busy days. It
reminds me to stop and enjoy the moment for
as long as it takes to create. My paintings
are from my soul, a reminder of the beauty
in a very chaotic world that is often too
busy to remember the little blessings we are
surrounded by every day.
