As a child, John spent many days with his family at the Detroit Institute of Arts and was raised with an appreciation of art in all its forms. John has taken various art classes over the years, but spent more time simply experimenting with different medium and techniques on his own. John has been a sketch artist, an airbrush artist and a sculptor in both clay and wood, but his true passion has always been photography. Having always been interested in computers, John found and took to the world of digital image manipulation. As the Computer and Camera have moved together in recent years, John has embraced both and has graduated to the digital dark room. You'll note when viewing John's work that it is not of exotic places. Instead, you will see the ordinary everyday life that is around us in its ever changing moods and meanings. Often his images force you to see normal things in new ways.
