Robert VP Davis

Robert V. P. Davis was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art and earned a Diploma in Fine Arts Painting. Mr. Davis’ work as a painter, sculptor, designer and illustrator has been exhibited in Maryland, New York, Washington, D. C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, Norh Carolina, Chicago, Utah and Los Angeles, as well as in Sinop and Ankara, Turkey. He has received numerous awards over the years. Professional Associations: • Maryland Artists Equity Foundation (MAEF) Board of Directors, 1994 to present; Treasurer 1995 to present. • Maryland Institute, College of Art Alumni Baltimore Committee Member, 1993 to present. • Pastboard member, The Village Learning Place, Inc., Charles Village, Baltimore, 1999 to 2003. • Past Treasurer and Board member, Artists Equity Association (AEA), Baltimore Chapter, 1989-1994. • Past member and Committee Co-Chair, Advertising Association of Baltimore. • Past member, American Institute of Graphic Artists. • Past member, Printing Industries of Maryland (PIM) of Baltimore. Personal: Bob pursues his fine arts and graphic design; also enjoys his family and friends, gardening, community work, touring museums, galleries and traveling.
