Ms. Wray began working in watercolor in 1943 as a student at Newcomb College Art School. She graduated with honors for the best senior project. The drawing-painting portion was selected to represent Newcomb in a student exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art. It was later used as a teaching tool at Newcomb. After graduating, she became a professional painter and now works in wide variety of water media, including watercolors, inks, acrylics and collage; often combining them to produce exciting visual expressions with a special emphasis on color.

Jerry is represented by eleven galleries and has had much TV and newspaper coverage; including a thirty minute interview on the Shreveport Channel. Publications consist of "American Artists of Renown", :American Artists Reference Publications", and "Artist s of Louisiana", vol. 1 in 1991. "Who's Who in America", "Encyclopedia of W.C. Techniques for Landscape" by Slogan, 'Who's Who in the World 1998". Collections include three Fortune 500 Companies, the Louisiana State Capitol Building, Baton Rouge, LA; LSU Medical Center, Shreveport, LA; Deposit Guarantee Bank and Bank One of Shreveport, LA; and the King of Saudi Arabia's summer palace; meir Museum, Lynchburg, VA; Goddard Museum, Ardmore, OK; Lockhaven University, PA; Jane Voorhies-Zimmerli Museum, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
